The Society of  DAUGHTERS OF MARY IMMACULATE (DMI)

       DMI was founded by Rev. Fr. Arul Raj OMI on 28th January 1984 in a remote village called Pandravedu near Tiruttani, 120 kms from Chennai. Since the founder was born in Rajakamangalam Thurai, DMI  has their house in Rajakamangalam Thurai also. They are providing housing, food and opportunities for education for many poor young girls from various parts of Tamil Nadu. They are studying at St. Joseph's High School in Rajakamangalam Thurai and are in other schools in Kanyakumari district. Additionally, DMI sisters also helping the religious service in Rajakamangalam Thurai.
